Hello!  So glad you are interested in knowing more about JOYthrift.  We are collectors of all sorts of things!  We see ourselves as "keepers of the find":  to rehab, keep safe, and charish.  That is until someone comes along who is interested and wants to become the custodian of a treasure or gift it to another.

Coming up from a small home in Ohio we had much LOVE but very little money.  Caring for what you had was a way of being.  One didn't know or expect more stuff!  Thrift shopping we could find great deals and items others discarded became treasures!

Many items have been in our care for decades and longer because our Parents and Grandparents cared for items in order to preserve them and use them for many years.
